| Obverse description | Central vignette presents two allegorical female figures representing Labor and Science seated at left upon an antique bas-relief incorporating the Arts, Industry, Agriculture, and Commerce; at right, an angel holds a large medallion inscribed 'Wisdom and Strength', with agricultural tools in the foreground.
