| 正面描述 | The national coat of arms of Burkina Faso occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield charged with a five-pointed star, supported by two rearing stallions, and surmounted by two crossed traditional spears beneath a scroll inscribed BURKINA FASO. Below the shield, an open book rests on a ribbon bearing the national motto in three segments. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU BURKINA FASO runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5000 FRANCS CFA appears in the lower field. The motto words Unité, Progrès, and Justice are distributed across the lower ribbon flanking the book. |

Burkina Faso has no monetary mint of its own — these issues are struck under contract by European private mints, primarily in Poland and Germany, for the collector market rather than any domestic circulation purpose. The CFA franc itself is managed by the BCEAO in Dakar, and Burkina Faso's participation in the zone leaves it little independent authority over coinage beyond licensing novelty issues of this kind.
This piece is part of a multi-coin mammoth series, with the "Mother" designation pairing it against a corresponding "Baby" issue — a sales structure common to the high-relief African wildlife collector market of the 2010s.
