| Beschrijving voorzijde | A large, finely detailed laurel wreath (Laurus nobilis) occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with naturalistic, overlapping leaves. The wreath is set against a plain inner field, framed by a broad border decorated with a continuous Greek meander (key) pattern in low relief. The upper legend reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN, while the lower portion of the border carries the denomination and specification 5000 FRANCS CFA AG 999 5 OZ, with the date 2022 appearing below the wreath. The overall finish is antique, giving the surfaces a rich, aged appearance consistent with the coin's antiqued silver treatment. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Cameroon has issued collector silver under its own authority since the early 2000s, though the coins are produced entirely for the European numismatic market and have no circulation history in Central Africa whatsoever. The Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), which governs the CFA franc used in Cameroon, has no role in authorizing these pieces — they exist through a licensing arrangement that allows private minting firms to use Cameroonian issuing authority as a legal vehicle.
KM#539 was struck at a European facility, almost certainly on commission from a bullion and collector coin distributor. The Apollo and Muses theme has no particular connection to Cameroonian history or culture.
