Description de l’avers	The central vignette presents an intaglio-rendered mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei) amid bamboo vegetation against a backdrop of the Virunga volcanic mountains, set within a pink and rose guilloche underprint. A small colour-shifting gorilla silhouette appears at the right as an optical security element, while an ornate oval guilloche watermark panel occupies the left field. Two facsimile signatures appear below the central vignette under the Kinyarwanda titles "Umuyobozi wa Banki Wungirije" and "Umuyobozi wa Banki", with the date 01.12.2014 at lower left.

Description du revers	The central vignette renders two traditional Rwandan woven baskets (agaseke) in fine intaglio line work, set against a light guilloche background. To the left stands a tall intricately patterned woven vessel, while a rounder, horizontally banded basket occupies the centre-right; an ornate oval guilloche panel appears at the far right. The overall colour scheme continues the rose and pink tones of the obverse, with denomination numerals "5000" repeated at all four corners.
