Description de l’avers	The obverse is divided into two distinct halves. The left half features a matte finish bearing the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia at center, with the Armenian legend arcing around the upper and lower periphery reading 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ ԿԵՆՏՐՈՆԱԿԱՆ ԲԱՆԿ' (Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia). The right half displays a proof-finished star map or constellation chart in the field. The date '2007' appears at the top between the two halves, and the denomination '5000 ԴՐԱՄ' is prominently inscribed in the lower center of the coin.

He is portrayed in ancient attire with armor, drawing a large bow with great tension, his quiver of arrows visible on his back. The composition conveys power and movement against a plain proof field. The bilingual legend 'ՀԱՅԿ ՆԱՀԱՊԵՏ HAIK NAHAPET' arcs around the upper periphery of the coin in both Armenian and Latin scripts.
