| Obverse description | Central field features the Armenian state coat of arms, depicting an eagle and lion supporting a shield charged with a representation of Mount Ararat and other national symbols. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper periphery. The date 2013 appears to the lower left, the fineness mark Au 999.9 to the lower right, and the denomination 5000 DRAM / ԴՐԱՄ is prominently inscribed across the lower field.
