| Beschrijving voorzijde | At centre, the National Coat of Arms of Armenia depicts an eagle and lion supporting a shield quartered with national symbols, surmounted by a sword-bearing eagle. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper rim, while the date 2013 appears to the left of the arms and the fineness Au 999,9 to the right. The denomination 5000 DRAM / ԴՐԱՄ is prominently inscribed in the lower field, and the legend REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA curves along the lower rim. |

Part of the Central Bank of Armenia's 38-coin series dedicated to the Armenian alphabet, each piece assigned a single letter of the Mkhedruli-adjacent Ayb-Ben-Gim script devised by Mesrop Mashtots around 405 AD. The series was issued across several years beginning in 2012, with individual letters treated as discrete collectibles rather than a single simultaneous release. Տ — transliterated as "T" — occupies a specific position in an alphabet that has remained largely unchanged for over sixteen centuries, one of the more stable writing systems to survive from late antiquity.
