正面描述	The National Coat of Arms of Armenia — a heraldic eagle displayed bearing a central shield — occupies the centre of the obverse field. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper periphery. The date 2013 appears to the lower left of the arms, with the fineness mark Au 999,9 to the lower right. The denomination 5000 DRAM / ԴՐԱՄ is inscribed prominently across the lower field, with the English legend REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA arcing along the bottom rim.

背面描述	The Armenian letter Ժ (Zhe), the tenth letter of the Armenian alphabet, is depicted in large format at the centre of the reverse field, rendered in an ornate illuminated manuscript style with interlaced knotwork decoration filling the upper portion of the character. The full Armenian alphabet is inscribed in a continuous circular legend surrounding the central letter, reading around the entire periphery of the coin. A small decorative square ornament appears at the lower left of the central letter. The overall design pays homage to the classical Armenian scribal tradition.
