| Obverse description | At centre, the National Coat of Arms of Armenia depicts an eagle and lion supporting a quartered shield, rendered in high relief. The Armenian inscription ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper rim as the primary legend. The date 2013 appears in the left field and the fineness Au 999,9 in the right field, flanking the coat of arms.
