背面描述	The featured Armenian letter Վ (Vev) is prominently displayed in large format at the centre of the field, with one half rendered in plain raised relief and the other half decorated with an ornate interlaced filigree panel recalling medieval Armenian manuscript illumination. The complete Armenian alphabet is arranged in a continuous circular legend surrounding the central motif, reading clockwise from the upper portion of the rim.

附加信息	Part of a 38-coin series issued by the Central Bank of Armenia to commemorate each letter of the Armenian alphabet — one of the oldest alphabets still in active use, created by the scholar Mesrop Mashtots around 405 AD on commission from the Catholicos Sahak I. The series ran across several years and became one of the most ambitious thematic programs in Armenian numismatic history. The letter Վ, pronounced roughly as the English "V," occupies the twentieth position in Mashtots's original ordering, which has remained essentially unchanged for over 1,600 years.
