Opmerkingen

Dom Štampe in Zenica was a commercial printing house pressed into banknote production during the Bosnian War — it was not a security printer by trade, and the notes it produced for the National Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1993 reflect that. The 5000 Dinara (P#16) was printed in quantity but circulated into an economy already being destroyed by hyperinflation; the dinar was losing value faster than denominations could be introduced.

By late 1993, this note was functionally worthless in everyday transactions. The 1994 convertible marka reform eventually replaced the entire wartime dinar series.
