Obverse description	The obverse is printed in purple-red on a light ground and dominated by a large bold numeral '5000' vignette at centre-left, surrounded by a fine guilloche underprint interspersed with small fleur-de-lis motifs. To the right, the bilingual bank title in Latin and Cyrillic scripts appears at the top, beneath which the Bosnian coat of arms is printed, followed by the governor's signature line with date '1. KOLOVOZ - AVGUST 1992', and a smaller numeral '5000' at lower right.

Reverse description	The reverse is printed in purple-red on a pale guilloche ground with scattered fleur-de-lis ornaments, centred on a large bold numeral '5000' vignette. The bilingual state title in Latin and Cyrillic appears at upper left alongside the Bosnian arms, the overprint 'BON - БОН' is placed at upper right, and the denomination is restated in three languages at the bottom. A serial number prefix and number in red are printed vertically at left, with a small bar-code-style strip at lower left.
