The large denomination numeral "5000" appears in intaglio at lower right, with the value expressed in all four official Yugoslav languages below. The names of the six constituent republics run vertically along the left border, while facsimile signatures of the Deputy Governor and Governor appear at lower left above the place and date of issue. |

All notes show Tito's year of death correctly (1980, and not 1930) The reason why some notes may appear as printing errors at first sight is a small impurity in the numeral 8 of 1980, which could be read as a "3" when not having a closer look. However, this is due to a kind of "material fatigue" or lack of cleanliness during the printing process. The plates themselves, however, had always the correct date (1980) engraved.
