Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Persian commemorative inscription in Nasta'liq script, recording the centennial jubilee of Qajar rule and the occasion of the coin's striking at the royal mint in AH 1293. The text is enclosed within an elegant wreath of olive branches tied at the base, the whole contained within a finely executed dentilated border. The inscription begins with the invocation 'هوالناصر' at the apex and concludes with the AH date ۱۲۹۳ at the foot of the field.
