| Obverse description | Draped bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar facing left, wearing a traditional Qajar karakul hat surmounted by an aigrette, depicted in high relief with finely detailed military dress collar. The Arabic date ۱۳۲۶ appears in the left field, and the engraver's initials 'A.M.' (for Alphonse Michaux) are inscribed at the base of the bust.
