| Obverse description | Facing bust of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar, wearing a distinctive tall Qajar karakul hat adorned with an aigrette jewel at its crown, dressed in a military uniform decorated with orders and medals. The effigy is flanked on either side by crossed olive branches tied at the base, with the AH date ۱۳۲۴ inscribed in the lower exergue. A circular Arabic legend curves around the upper field, identifying the ruler and his titles, all within a beaded border. |
