Obverse description Facing bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar, depicted as a young sovereign wearing a plumed Qajar court hat and a military uniform with epaulettes, set within a wreath of olive and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon. The Arabic legend arcs around the upper field reading 'Sultan Ahmad Shah Qajar, Shahanshah of Iran,' with the AH date 1331 inscribed in the lower exergue. The coin is framed by a beaded border.
