| 正面描述 | The obverse presents a central vignette of traditional fishermen's pirogue boats against an intricate guilloche underprint in blue tones. At centre-right, a three-dimensional security element is incorporated into the design, while a vertical holographic band along the right margin displays the facial value, a ravinala (traveller's palm), a rainbow, and the initials BMF. The issuer's title BANKY FOIBEN'I MADAGASIKARA and the denomination DIMY ARIVO ARIARY / 25000 FRANCS are printed in intaglio at the top. |

| 备注 |
Madagascar's dual-denomination system — Ariary alongside the CFA-derived Franc Malagasy — was a deliberate post-colonial transition stretching over decades, with the Ariary finally becoming the sole legal tender in 2005. This note straddles that changeover, which is why both values appear on the face; the 5 to 1 conversion ratio between Franc and Ariary is printed currency policy made visible.
G&D's Leipzig facility handled the contract, bringing the full security package standard to their high-denomination work at that time.
