Obverse description The obverse features the Polish state emblem, a crowned eagle with spread wings facing right, rendered in high relief at the center of the field. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery, separated by bullet points. The date 1976 is split to either side of the eagle's lower body, with the mint mark MW visible below.
