| Obverse description | The obverse features a central rectangular cartouche containing a multi-line Latin commemorative inscription in capital letters referencing King Casimir IV Jagiellon's restoration of Prussia to the Polish Crown. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA and the denomination 500 ZŁ are inscribed along the outer border. Below the cartouche, the Polish state eagle in relief separates the date 2015, with the mint mark MW positioned nearby. The design is executed in a deeply struck relief against a polished field, imparting a medallic character to the composition. The overall layout closely follows the tradition of early modern commemorative medals. |
