| Obverse description | Printed in brown and black on an uncoloured ground, the obverse carries a wide agricultural vignette across the centre: a pack horse with attendant figure at left and a horse-drawn plough at right, set against a rural landscape. The denomination 伍佰圓 (500 Yuan) appears in a central panel in bold Chinese characters, flanked by guilloche border ornaments. The bank title 晉察冀邊區銀行 is inscribed at the top, with the date 中華民國三十五年 along the lower margin. |
