| Obverse description | Green intaglio print on a light ground, with the bank title 北海銀行 inscribed across the top and the denomination 伍佰圓 in large characters flanking the central vignette, which presents a lakeside dock scene with boats moored at a waterfront enclosed within an ornate guilloche border. Red seal impressions reading 東山 appear at the lower left and lower right corners, with a red serial number at the upper right. The date inscription 印年六十三國民華中 is rendered in period convention along the lower margin. |
