| Obverse description | Brown and green letterpress print on cream paper. A central vignette at right illustrates a horse-drawn cart scene with trees in the background. The denomination 伍佰圓 (500 Yuan) is printed in large Chinese characters at centre, flanked by a circular guilloche rosette at left. The bank name 冀南銀行 appears at top, with the date 中華民國三十七年 along the lower margin; two red seal impressions appear at lower centre, and a serial number prefix (AD) with alphanumeric series is shown at upper right and upper left respectively. |
