| Obverse description | Central vignette shows a lakeside pavilion with a tower gate set among trees, rendered in an intaglio-style landscape vignette in dark brownish-red tones. The issuer name in Chinese characters (行銀民人國中) appears at the top centre, with the denomination 伍佰圓 printed in large characters to the right of the vignette. Corner rosettes carry the Chinese characters 伍佰 repeated four times, and the date 年一五九一 is printed at the bottom centre flanked by guilloche ornaments. |
