| Obverse description | Two Owara Kaze-no-bon Festival dancers depicted in dynamic motion within the inner field, one wearing a traditional wide-brimmed straw hat and flowing robes, the other posed with a fan extended, both rendered in high relief against a plain background. The Japanese national inscription 日 本 国 (State of Japan) arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 五 百 円 (500 yen) appears along the lower field. The prefecture name is inscribed in both Latin script (TOYAMA) and Japanese characters (富山県) to the left of the central design. A beaded border encircles the entire obverse composition. |
