背面描述 A polychrome enamelled depiction of two long-tailed angelfish (Pterophyllum eimekei) occupies the central field, rendered in shades of lavender, brown, grey, and yellow against a mirror-proof black background, with green aquatic vegetation at lower left and a stylised yellow coral formation at right. The fish are shown in a naturalistic aquarium setting, their elongated dorsal and ventral fins prominently displayed. The Latin legend 'LONG-TAIL PTEROPHYLLUM EIMEKEI' arcs along the upper border. The individual serial number '0361/1950' is engraved in the lower field, with the 'LCC' issuer cartouche appearing at the bottom centre.

附加信息

North Korea began issuing silver proof commemoratives in earnest during the 1990s, primarily for export sale through numismatic dealers in Europe and Asia — hard currency the regime badly needed following the collapse of Soviet aid and the onset of the catastrophic famine years. This piece was never intended to circulate domestically.

KM#119 is part of a marine life subseries that appeared across several years. The multicolor application was applied post-strike, a technique common to DPRK issues of this period as it commanded higher premiums in the foreign collector market.
