Obverse description Central vignette of Mount Triglav (Julian Alps), the highest peak in Slovenia and a national symbol, rendered in a blue-grey intaglio style. The inscription REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA appears at the top, with the denomination 500 PETSTO positioned in the lower left and upper right corners. The serial number is printed vertically along the right margin.
