Beschrijving voorzijde The national emblem of Mongolia is centrally depicted in high relief, featuring the Soyombo symbol above a stylized representation of the state seal, flanked by two rearing horses and supported by decorative lotus petals at the base. Radiating lines fill the field behind the emblem, creating a sunburst effect. The denomination '500' appears in the upper field, with the legend 'MONGOLIA' inscribed vertically to the right and 'TOGROG' along the lower rim in Latin script. The Mongolian script legend appears to the left, reading 'Monggol Ulus'. The inscription 'Silver 999 1oz' is noted in small characters to the lower left, and the date '2007' appears in the exergue below the emblem. The coin is bordered by an ornate meander (Greek key) pattern around the entire rim.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a gilt central composition depicting a large sow facing right, accompanied by three small piglets at her feet, all rendered in selective gold gilding against the mirrored proof field. The central scene is framed by a double ring of beaded borders, with elaborately engraved decorative panels featuring stylized clouds, mythical creatures, and architectural pavilion motifs at the top and bottom, all in the East Asian artistic tradition. The outer field carries additional ornamental scrollwork incorporating dragons and phoenix-like figures in low relief. The overall design references traditional Chinese decorative arts appropriate to the Lunar New Year series.
