Obverse description The national emblem of Mongolia is centrally depicted in high relief, featuring the Soyombo symbol above a stylized representation of the state seal, flanked by two rearing horses and supported by decorative lotus petals at the base. Radiating lines fill the field behind the emblem, creating a sunburst effect. The denomination '500' appears in the upper field, with the legend 'MONGOLIA' inscribed vertically to the right and 'TOGROG' along the lower rim in Latin script. The Mongolian script legend appears to the left, reading 'Monggol Ulus'. The inscription 'Silver 999 1oz' is noted in small characters to the lower left, and the date '2007' appears in the exergue below the emblem. The coin is bordered by an ornate meander (Greek key) pattern around the entire rim.
