| Obverse description | Central field features the Mongolian national emblem, the Soyombo symbol, rendered in high relief within a radiate sunburst border, flanked by two dragons in profile. The traditional Mongolian script legend appears vertically along the left side of the field. The denomination '500' is inscribed at the top of the coin, with 'MONGOLIA' along the right and 'TOGROG' at the base, all in Latin lettering. The date 2004 appears within the design. The entire composition is encircled by a decorative border of repeated geometric meander motifs. |
