| Obverse description | Centrally positioned Soyombo national emblem, the traditional symbol of Mongolia incorporating flame, sun, moon, earth, water, and the yin-yang motif within a stylized architectural frame, all rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. To the right of the Soyombo, the country name appears in traditional Mongolian script (uighurjin) arranged vertically, with the Latin legend MONGOLIA running along the right periphery. The denomination 500 is inscribed in large numerals at the base of the design, followed by the Mongolian script rendering of Tögrög. A fine serrated border frames the entire composition. |
