Traditional Mongolian script legends appear vertically in the silver outer ring to the left and right. The denomination 500 ТӨГРӨГ is boldly inscribed in the lower portion of the gold-plated center field. Along the lower edge of the silver ring, the Latin inscription MONGOLIA 25gr 925 SILVER identifies the issuing country and metallic specifications. The coin's reeded edge and the contrast between the polished silver ring and the raised gold-plated center create a striking bimetallic presentation. |
