Beschrijving voorzijde Central device depicts the Mongolian state emblem — the Soyombo symbol — set within an ornate arched cartouche with decorative lotus petal motifs at its base. The Cyrillic inscription 'Монгол Банк' (Bank of Mongolia) appears in script lettering within the cartouche, flanked on either side by Traditional Mongolian script legends. The denomination '500 ТӨГРӨГ' is rendered in large numerals and Cyrillic lettering in the lower field, with the legend 'MONGOLIA 25gr 925 SILVER' inscribed along the lower rim. A serrated border of triangular denticles frames the entire design.

Beschrijving keerzijde A highly detailed depiction of a golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos daphanea) in full soaring flight, wings broadly extended, rendered with fine feather engraving against a frosted sky field. The bird is depicted in left profile, ascending over a rugged mountain landscape with rocky crags and snow rendered in high relief and frosted surfaces in the lower portion of the field. A small Traditional Mongolian script inscription appears in the upper left field. The Latin legend 'AQUILA CHRYSAETOS' arcs along the upper left rim and 'DAPHANEA' along the upper right rim, with the date '2013' in the lower left field.
