On the perimeter of the coin there is a wide edging , on which there is a die on the circumference with an inscription `500 ТЕҢГЕ` denoting the face value of the coin, the inscribed `ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ` inscription in the state language, `REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN` in English and a stylized image of the sun. |

On the perimeter of the coin there is a wide frosted edging on which there is a die with the inscription `2018` on the circumference, the inscription `ШЫҒЫС КҮНТІЗБЕСI` in the official language, `ВОСТОЧНЫЙ КАЛЕНДАРЬ` in Russian and `ORIENTAL CALENDAR` in English. On the inside of the matted edge are the remaining eleven symbols of the eastern calendar. |
