| Obverse description | The state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is displayed prominently in the center of the field, rendered in high relief against a polished gold background. Flanking the central emblem are decorative ornamental elements in traditional Kazakh style. The denomination '500' appears in large numerals below the emblem, with the inscription 'ТЕҢГЕ' beneath it. The bilingual legend 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' in Kazakh and 'РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН' in Russian arcs around the upper periphery of the coin. |

| Additional information |
Süinbai Aronov (1815–1898) was one of the foremost aqyns — improvising oral poets — of the Kazakh steppe tradition, and his inclusion in Kazakhstan's commemorative gold program reflects the post-Soviet effort to canonize figures of pre-Russian cultural life. The series of which this coin is part has drawn occasional criticism for favoring legendary or semi-legendary figures whose biographical details remain contested by historians.
