The circular legend along the upper border reads ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ • REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN in Cyrillic and Latin scripts. The denomination 500 ТЕҢГЕ, the date 2018, and the fineness and weight designations Ag 925 24g are inscribed in the lower portion of the field. The Kazakh and Latin renderings of the series name ШАРШЫ SHARSHY appear along the left border. |

Issued under Kazakhstan's ongoing "Sakral'naya Geografiya" (Sacred Geography) cultural series, this coin belongs to a program launched by the National Bank to document intangible heritage — traditional crafts, nomadic practices, and regional customs facing erosion in the post-Soviet decades. Sharshy refers to the ancient Kazakh craft of felt and textile carving, historically practiced by women across the steppe and used to decorate yurts and ceremonial objects.
The .925 silver fabric of the coin was chosen deliberately for this subseries, which consistently uses that alloy rather than the finer .999 silver found elsewhere in Kazakhstani commemorative programs.
