| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a colorful representation of a traditional Kazakh quilted patchwork blanket known as a 'quraq körpe', depicted in vivid geometric triangular patterns in shades of orange, red, purple, and brown, shown in a perspective view against a plain silver field. The intricate patchwork design showcases traditional Kazakh textile artistry, with the triangular segments arranged to create a dynamic, layered composition. The legend 'QURAQ KÓRPE' appears in Latin script accompanied by the year of issue '2019', positioned along the upper edge of the field. |

The quraq kórpe is a traditional Kazakh patchwork quilt, assembled from fabric remnants and given as a gift at significant life events — births, weddings, the arrival of guests. Each patch carries its own origin and meaning, making the assembled whole a kind of material autobiography of a family or community. Kazakhstan's National Bank has issued a series of coins celebrating intangible cultural heritage, and this piece belongs to that program, which began in earnest around 2015 as part of a broader state effort to document and elevate nomadic Kazakh traditions ahead of the country's 2017 EXPO hosting.
The .925 silver planchet on several coins in this series incorporates colored enamel inlay to replicate the textile's geometry — a technically demanding addition that accounts for the relatively high production cost per unit.
