Obverse description The State Emblem of Kazakhstan, depicting a shanyrak (the upper dome of a yurt) with sun rays radiating outward, flanked by mythical winged horses (tulpars), rendered in high relief at center within a decorative panel framed by traditional Kazakh ornamental patterns. The denomination '500' appears in large numerals in the lower field, with the word 'ТЕҢГЕ' inscribed below it. The bilingual legend 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' in Kazakh and 'РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН' in Russian runs along the left and right borders respectively. A small mint mark appears at the top of the coin.
