| Obverse description | The State Emblem of Kazakhstan is depicted in the center of the field, surrounded by an ornamental rosette rendered in a traditional Kazakh decorative style. A bilingual legend encircles the design, reading QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY in Kazakh and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN in English. Part of Kazakhstan's long-running "Nomad's Treasures" series, this issue focuses on the composite recurve bow — a weapon so central to steppe warfare that Chinese dynasties spent centuries and enormous resources building walls specifically to limit its effective use against their cavalry. Kazakh nomads produced these bows from layered horn, sinew, and wood, each taking years to complete and remaining functional for generations.
KM#573 is among the more recent additions to a series that has drawn consistent collector interest in Central Asian markets since its inception.
