Part of Kazakhstan's long-running "Nomad's Treasures" series, this issue focuses on the composite recurve bow — a weapon so central to steppe warfare that Chinese dynasties spent centuries and enormous resources building walls specifically to limit its effective use against their cavalry. Kazakh nomads produced these bows from layered horn, sinew, and wood, each taking years to complete and remaining functional for generations.
KM#573 is among the more recent additions to a series that has drawn consistent collector interest in Central Asian markets since its inception.
