| Obverse description | Central field features the State Emblem of Kazakhstan — a shanyrak (circular roof-crown of a yurt) with radiating uyk (support poles) surrounded by wings of mythical steppe eagles, all rendered in high relief. The emblem is framed by an ornate circular border of traditional Kazakh floral and geometric arabesques. The circular legend 'QAZAQSTAN RESPYBLIKASY' arcs around the upper periphery, with the denomination '500 TENGE' and fineness designation 'Au 999 7,75 g' inscribed in the lower field.
