Beschrijving voorzijde The coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan is depicted centrally within a rectangular cartouche, featuring two mythical steppe eagles flanking a shanyrak (the crown of a yurt) surmounted by a five-pointed star, all rendered in high relief. The cartouche is framed by an elaborate traditional Kazakh ornamental border filling the field of the coin. The denomination '500' appears prominently in large numerals below the arms, with the inscription 'ТЕҢГЕ' beneath it. The legend 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ' runs along the left arc and 'РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН' along the right arc of the coin, both in raised Cyrillic lettering.

Aanvullende informatie

Kazakhstan hosted the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana beginning in 2003, a Nursultan Nazarbayev initiative positioning the country as a diplomatic bridge between Islamic, Christian, Jewish, and Buddhist traditions. The congresses convene every three years, and this coin was issued ahead of the fourth session in 2012.
