备注

Syria's Central Bank has issued 500 Pound notes across several series since the mid-20th century, but a note dated 1447 AH — corresponding to 2025 CE — places this squarely in the current civil-war-recovery period, when the Syrian pound had lost the overwhelming majority of its pre-2011 value. At the peak of the currency's collapse, the official rate diverged from the black-market rate by a factor exceeding ten, and the Central Bank continued issuing higher denominations partly to manage the practical burden of everyday transactions rather than address underlying monetary conditions.

A watermark-only security specification at this denomination and in this period is notably sparse.
