Aversbeschreibung	The obverse features the national coat of arms of Ecuador centrally displayed within the bronze-coloured inner disc, depicting Mount Chimborazo, a river, a steamship, and a condor with outstretched wings atop the shield, flanked by laurel and palm branches with flags and fasces below. The circular legend 'REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR' arcs along the upper portion of the nickel-coloured outer ring, with the date '1995' positioned at the bottom. A continuous ring of small beads borders the inner edge of the outer ring.
