| Obverse description | The state emblem of Uzbekistan rendered as an intaglio vignette occupies the left-centre, set against an elaborate multicolour guilloche underprint incorporating traditional Central Asian geometric and floral ornamental motifs in teal, pink, and ochre. The denomination numerals '500' appear in large letterpress at lower left and in oversized Cyrillic script 'СЎМ' at centre-right, with the issuing authority title in a dark banner across the top. The date '1999' is printed in teal at upper right, alongside a decorative arabesque cartouche in the upper right corner, with the legal tender clause inscribed in small text along the lower margin. |
