Reverse description The reverse presents a forward-facing bust portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, wearing his characteristic Karakul cap and traditional sherwani coat, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. The dates 1876 and 1976 flank the portrait to the left and right respectively, commemorating the centenary of his birth. Below the portrait, an Arabic inscription in Nastaliq script reads قائداعظم محمد علی جناح (Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah). The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field and is encircled by a toothed milled border.
