| Obverse description | Central design features a traditional Nepalese yantra (sacred geometric diagram) rendered in high relief, composed of interlocking rectangular frames filled with Devanagari inscriptions naming King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Auspicious royal symbols — including a conch shell, ritual vessel, and lotus motif — are positioned within the compartments of the yantra. The Vikrama Samvat date 2046 appears at the base of the central device. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border running along the coin's rim. |
