| 背面描述 | The reverse is dominated by two wildlife vignettes: a Seychelles Tiger Chameleon (Kanmeleon / Caméléon tigre des Seychelles) rendered in warm red-brown tones climbing a flowering branch at centre-left, and a Seychelles Scops Owl (Syer / Petit-duc scieur) in orange-toned intaglio at the right. A central band carries an intricate DNA-helix motif interspersed with detailed engravings of insects including beetles and flies, set against a pale green and amber guilloche underprint. The issuer's name in three languages appears centrally, with trilingual denomination inscriptions along the left margin and the large numeral «500» in white at lower right. |

| 备注 |
The 2016 series marked the Central Bank of Seychelles' first move to a hybrid substrate — a polymer-cotton composite rather than full polymer — which De La Rue markets as SAFEGUARD. The choice reflects a common compromise for tropical island issuers: full polymer can perform poorly in humid, high-sweat circulation environments, while pure cotton paper degrades faster under those same conditions.
P#51 is the highest denomination in the series. At that value in Seychelles, a note changes hands infrequently and tends to exit circulation quickly into savings or informal hoarding, which means surviving examples often show surprisingly little wear despite the substrate's relative novelty.
