| 背面描述 | The reverse is rendered in blue-green and teal hues, centred on a detailed vignette of the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, its three domes and flanking minarets faithfully reproduced against a fine arabesque guilloche background. The bold numeral 500 appears in intaglio at upper centre, with the issuer's name and denomination printed in English along the upper and lower margins respectively. A circular watermark window and State Bank seal appear at left. |

| 备注 |
Pakistan's domestic security printing operation, PSPC, has produced the bulk of the country's currency since the 1960s, and this series represents one of the more technically stable runs from the Karachi facility — no major printing scandals or documented plate failures are associated with P#49. The 500-rupee denomination carried real purchasing weight during this period; inflation was accelerating through 2007–2008 under pressure from global commodity prices, and these notes moved briskly through urban commerce.
The security thread specification for this issue is relatively modest by contemporaneous international standards — a windowed thread rather than the more complex holographic variants adopted in later Pakistani series.
