| 备注 |
Nepal Rastra Bank's 500 Rupee note occupied an awkward position in the series for most of this period — large enough to matter in transactions but issued in a country where daily commerce ran overwhelmingly on far smaller denominations. Thomas De La Rue handled the printing throughout the run, as they did for the majority of Nepali issues from this era, providing the intaglio work and watermark security on cotton stock sourced outside Nepal.
The fifteen-year span of issue across P#35 reflects not a single print order but successive reprintings with minor dating changes — collectors should distinguish signature varieties carefully, as these correspond to different Governors of Nepal Rastra Bank.
